Dancefloor Challenge 2020 – Tony’s time to shine!

The secret is out! Our very own Tony De Sousa, Managing Director of Channel Insurance Brokers, will be dusting off his dancing shoes to take part in next year’s iconic Dancefloor Challenge!

Tony will be joined by 14 other brave contestants including his sister Sonia Guille, a Paramedic Station Officer at St John Emergency Ambulance Service, and local Deputy John Gollop. Tony has until April to learn some challenging routines for the 1940’s themed competition alongside his dance partner and coach Karen Michel.

With a cocktail of ballroom and latin dances, the Dancefloor Challenge will take place at Beau Sejour on the 24th and 25th April 2020, and we’re delighted to also support the event as one of the official sponsors. The 2020 event’s chosen charities are Choices and the Guernsey branch of the Royal British Legion.

“I am delighted, apprehensive, nervous and out of my depth all at the same time! All the contestants are in the same boat and we will help and encourage each other, and I am sure my family, friends and work colleagues will give me as much support, not to mention stick, as they can until the event” Tony De Sousa

This year will also see a ‘mystery man’ in the competition who will not be revealed until the night of the first show. Here is a list of the contestants:
